How we helped Miro scale its engineering hub in Armenia
The impact, in numbers
profiles screened in 6 months
candidates submitted
response rate among all sourcers
The Challenge
Miro opened a new office in Armenia and had to hire strong senior software engineers quickly. Next to having a very high hiring bar, Armenia’s talent pool for sr. software engineers is limited and highly competitive.
Miro reached out to Matchr to help build a strong pipeline of senior software engineers, as we knew the local market well.
The Solution
We joined Miro’s team in Armenia with a mid-level sourcer that previously helped Miro’s Berlin office scale.
We were able to provide relevant market insights as our sourcer was based in Armenia and knew the market well.
The Results
By providing constant data to Miro’s senior recruitment team we were able to influence their overall hiring strategy for their Armenian office.
- We screened over 45.000 profiles in the 6 months we worked for the Armenian engineering hub and submitted 85 candidates.
- We realized the highest response rate of all sourcers and recruiters and trained the Armenian team on sourcing on other platforms besides LinkedIn.
- Our contract was extended multiple times.
