1. Who we are

This website (matchr.io) is operated by MatcHR B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands.

In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “Matchr” refer to MatcHR B.V. “You” refers to anyone using the site.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using matchr.io you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new version.

3. What these terms cover

These terms cover use of the matchr.io website only. They include the blog, case studies, podcast, and any forms or downloads on the site.

These terms do not cover our embedded RPO services or any commercial engagement with Matchr. Those are governed by a separate written agreement (Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or similar) signed by both parties.

4. Permitted use

You may use the site to:

• Read and share our content (blog posts, case studies, podcast episodes, reports)
• Submit contact, newsletter, or job application forms in good faith
• Download lead magnets we make available
• Register for events we host

When sharing our content, please attribute it to Matchr and link back to the source page.

5. Prohibited use

You may not:

• Scrape the site at scale or use automated tools to extract content without our written permission
• Submit false information in forms or impersonate someone else
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Reproduce, redistribute, or repurpose our content for commercial use without permission
• Use the site to harass, defame, or harm any person or organisation
• Interfere with the security or operation of the site

6. Intellectual property

All content on matchr.io is owned by MatcHR B.V. or our licensors. This includes blog posts, case study text, podcast episodes, photography, illustrations, logos, and the site design itself.

You may share our content with proper attribution. You may not reproduce it for commercial use, repackage it, or claim it as your own without our written permission.

The Matchr name and logo are trademarks of MatcHR B.V. You may not use them without permission, except to refer to Matchr in good-faith editorial context (for example, citing us in an article).

7. Your submissions

When you submit information to us through a form (contact, newsletter signup, job application, lead magnet, event registration), you grant Matchr the right to use that information for the purpose you submitted it for. We handle personal data according to our Privacy Policy.

For job applications, you confirm that any information and documents you submit (including your CV) are accurate and that you have the right to share them.

We don’t claim ownership of your submissions. You keep ownership; we get the usage rights needed to act on what you sent.

8. Third-party links and tools

We link to external sites and use third-party tools (for example, HubSpot for forms, Calendly for meetings, YouTube for video). When you follow a link or interact with an embedded tool, you’re leaving matchr.io and dealing with the third party directly. We’re not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

9. No professional advice

The content on matchr.io is informational. Blog posts, frameworks, and reports share our perspective and experience, but they’re not legal, financial, HR, or recruitment advice for your specific situation. Always check with a qualified advisor before making important decisions based on what you read here.

10. Site availability

We try to keep the site running smoothly. We don’t guarantee it will be available without interruption, or that pages will always be accurate or up to date. The site is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend, or remove parts of the site at any time without notice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, MatcHR B.V. is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the content
• Damages caused by third-party tools embedded on the site

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, liability for fraud or gross negligence).

12. Indemnity

If your use of the site causes a claim or loss against MatcHR B.V., you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from that claim, including reasonable legal costs. This applies to claims arising from your breach of these terms, your submissions to the site, or your misuse of our content.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

If you’re a consumer based in the European Union, you may also bring a dispute to the courts of your country of residence, in line with applicable EU consumer protection law.

14. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

15. Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and MatcHR B.V. regarding your use of matchr.io. They replace any prior agreement on that subject.
